Instructions:
Sauté the Aromatics

In a pot, melt the butter and oil over medium heat. Add the finely minced onion and cook until soft and
translucent (do not let it brown). Stir in the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Bloom the Spices

Add the crumbled chicken bouillon cube, turmeric, cinnamon, and ginger powder directly to the oil and onions.
Stir rapidly for a minute to release the oils and aromas of the spices.

Add the Sauce and Rice

Pour in the 3 tablespoons of your prepared Rizo sauce. Immediately add the drained rice and stir everything toaether thorouahlv. Toast the rice
Pour in the 3 tablespoons of your prepared Rizo sauce. Immediately add the drained rice and stir everything together thoroughly. Toast the rice grains in the mixture for 2 minutes so every grain turns yellow and absorbs the flavor base.
• Simmer and Cook
15-20 mins
Pour in the boiling water until it sits just about 1 cm above the rice. Let it come to a rolling boil, then cover the pot with a tight lid, turn the heat down to the lowest setting, and let it steam for 15 to 20 minutes without lifting the lid.
Assembly:
Fluff the hot rice with a fork. Scoop it into a bowl, top it with sliced pieces of your homemade crispy KFC chicken strips, and drizzle a generous amount of the remaining Rizo sauce across the top.
